Intermittent clashes in the west of Yarmouk camp and reports suggest the departure of a number of ISIS’s leaders from south Damascus

The Action Group’s correspondent reported that intermittent clashes broke out yesterday on the axis of the Martyrs’ Sector in Palestine Street, Yarmouk camp, between the Syrian regime forces and the Palestinian factions affiliated to it and ISIS. Light and medium weapons were used in the fighting, and no casualties were reported on either side. This coincided with the outbreak of confrontations between on the axes of (Zleekha neighborhood and Daaboul street), which both pide under the opposition-dominated, town of Yelda and the Tadamon neighborhood, which is controlled by the regime.

ISIS has forced the civilians in the buildings extending from Loubia Street to Yarmouk Secondary School for Girls, to leave their houses under the threat of weapons. At the same time, ISIS announced the Martyrs’ Sector area a closed military zone.

In the same context, the Action Group received reports confirming the departure of a number of ISIS’s leaders from Yarmouk camp and Al-Hajar Al-Aswad, heading to the north of Syria.

According to the reports, the leaders of ISIS left through checkpoints belonging to the Syrian regime. The Group was unable to verify the authenticity of the reports from other sources.
