In Lebanon, UNRWA packaged the ATM cards for the Palestinian refugees displaced from Syria to Lebanon. A sum of $100 was given as rent allowance to each Palestinian refugee family from Syria, in addition to 40 Lebanese pounds, or $27 of food allowance, for each person.
The number of Palestinian-Syrian refugees in Lebanon is estimated at 31 thousand, according to UNRWA’s statistics until the end of December 2016.
