AGPS’s Monitoring and Documentation Team revealed that it documented the death of 15 Palestinian victims, since the beginning of the military operation launched by the Syrian regime forces on Yarmouk camp and the southern region of Damascus. The Monitoring Group noted that among the victims, were a paramedic, a number of elderly persons and women.
The rescue of Mahmoud El-Baash and his family from under the rubble of their house on Saturday, decreased the death toll of the victims of the violent military operation on Yarmouk camp and its surrounding region, from 19 to 16 victims. Eyewitnesses have confirmed to the Action Group that whole families are still under the rubble, whom the people are unable to save, because there are no rescue teams or equipment to help in the process of lifting them out of the rubble.
