Yarmouk camp witnessed continued air raids the outbreak of violent confrontations between ISIS and members of the Syrian regime forces and the Palestinian factions affiliated to it. The clashes erupted on more than one point of contact between the town of Yelda and Yarmouk camp, and most medium and heavy weapons were used. The regime’s tanks centered near to the Omahat Al-Moemenen Mosque in Yelda, targeted the Palestine roundabout and Al-Tadamon neighborhood with a number of mortars, which caused major destruction to the civilian houses.
For his part, the official Syrian state television broadcast images showing its members raising the flag over the building of the Yarmouk camp court, south of Damascus.
According to what was published, the entry of members of the regime to the court area, came after the withdrawal of the fighters of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham, according to the so-called first stage of the agreement between the regime and Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham, which resulted in the departure of 200 fighters from Tahrir Al-Sham - previously Al-Nusra.
