The Syrian regime continues to detain Palestinian refugee, “Omar Jacob Hegazy,” born in 1975, for the sixth consecutive year. He was arrested by the Syrian security forces on the Syrian-Lebanese border, and no information has been received about him from that moment. He is a resident of Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus.
To this moment, the Action Group has documented 1676 Palestinian refugees, detained in the Syrian regime prisons, of which 106 are women. Their fates remain unknown.
