Violent fighting amid reports of the progression of the Syrian regime forces in south Damascus

According to the Action Group’s correspondent, the warplanes launched air raids on Yarmouk camp and Al-Hajar Al-Aswad neighborhood, targeting different areas in the region. This coincided with clashes described as violent, between ISIS and the Syrian regime and factions and committees loyal to it, on several points of contact between the two parties.

While media sources close to the Syrian regime said that its forces and affiliated groups achieved military progress at the expense of ISIS in south Damascus, amid violent fighting between the two sides.

Those sources added that the Syrian regime separated Al-Hajar Al-Aswad and Yarmouk camp in south Damascus, from the Aalaf area to the direction of the schools complex in Al-Hajar, reaching the cemetery axis at the end of the camp, in the direction of the Zein neighborhood.

A few thousand Palestinian refugees remain in Yarmouk camp, amid the continued bombardments of the Syrian regime and the violent clashes with ISIS.
