In Lebanon, the parents of ill, Palestinian-Syrian, “Ahmed Samer Hussien,” appealed to the relief Societies, National Work Committees, the Palestinian Embassy in Lebanon and UNRWA, to provide care and help to treat their son.
The family displaced from Syria to Lebanon suffers from poor living and economic conditions and are unable to afford his treatment expenses. Hussien’s family said that their 18-year-old son suffers from chronic renal failure, anemia and high blood pressure, and is subject to three kidney dialysis sessions per week.
Hospitalization is one of the most prominent obstacles and problems faced by the displaced Palestinian-Syrians and Syrians in Lebanon, while the shortage of hospital services remains high, especially following the weakness of the activity of local organizations and bodies, amid the continuation of the war in Syria.
