The town of Al-Hajar Al-Aswad, neighboring to Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus, witnessed the outbreak of violent fighting between the Syrian regime forces and ISIS, in conjunction with the air raids targeting Yarmouk camp and Al-Hajar Al-Aswad.
According to sources counted on the Syrian regime, members of the regime managed to enlarge the areas of their control in the neighborhoods of Al-Hajar Al-Aswad during the past hours, announcing their near approach to the headquarters of ISIS in the neighborhood. At the same time, the regime’s army was able to expand the area piding Yarmouk camp and some of the neighborhoods of Al-Hajar Al-Aswad from the rest of ISIS’s areas, which suffocated them.
The regime forces’ helicopters bombarded Yarmouk camp and the neighborhoods of Al-Hajar Al-Aswad and Al-Tadamon, after midnight on Monday, with explosive barrels, where the Syrian aircrafts dropped a number of explosive barrels on different areas in the region, causing material damage. This coincided with the outbreak of confrontations between ISIS and the Syrian regime forces and the factions loyal to it.
