Yarmouk camp was hit by aerial and artillery bombardments, targeting different areas, causing destruction to civilian houses. This coincided with the outbreak of violent clashes between the Syrian regime forces and ISIS on a number of axes, including the west of Yarmouk camp, Al-Tadamon and the north of Al-Hajar Al-Aswad.
On their part, activists shared pictures on social media pages, showing the great destruction caused to Al-Quds Mosque, at Street 15 in the west of the camp. The pictures also showed the almost total destruction of the neighboring buildings. During the past few days, violent clashes broke out between the regime and ISIS in the neighborhood, after which the regime managed to impose its control over the area.
