UNRWA packaged the ATM cards for the Palestinian-Syrian refugees displaced to Lebanon, and provided $100 for rent allowance for each Palestinian refugee family from Syria, as well as 40 thousand Syrian pounds ($27) as food allowance, per person.
The estimated 31,000 Palestinian refugees displaced by Syria, according to UNRWA statistics until the end of December 2016, continue to suffer from harsh living conditions due to the scarcity of relief assistance, the lack of stable financial resources, and the difficult cost of living in Lebanon.
