Palestinian female students achieve first place at the Syrian level in the basic education exam

Despite all the difficulties facing Syria in general, and the Palestinian-Syrians in particular, the lack of material resources and the economic, living and psychological pressures, a number of female Palestinian students have achieved first place in the ninth basic education level, across the Syrian cities and provinces.

Students “Aya Abbas” from Yarmouk camp and “Farah Mohammed Abd El-Halim” from the Damr community for Palestinian refugees, ranked first in the Arab Republic of Syria, in the ninth basic education level for 2018. The results were issued by the Syrian Ministry of Education on the 13th of June where they both scored a total of 3100 out of 3100 marks.

Student “Bayan Ehsan Al-Dames” from Sabinah camp, succeeded in exceeding the basic education certificate in Syria with a total of 3010 out of 3100.

In recent years, many Palestinian refugees in Syria have emerged through their successes in the fields of learning and education. The Palestinian student, “Zahr Yasser Al-Qusi,” received the second rank across Syria and first place in the province of Damascus, in the high school educational exams for 2017. Student “Ghadeer Ahmed Al-Tuba,” achieved first place in the province of Homs in the literary branch with a total of 2441 marks. In addition, student “Sherouk Ahmed Hamid,” from Al-Aedin camp came first place in the camp and Al-Amal High School, in the scientific branch, with a total score of 2850 marks.

While Palestinian student “Nada Adnan Mobdy,” came first place across Syria in the first stage of the high school exams and in the city of Quintera.

Meanwhile, student “Zein El-Abdin Khaled Sherif” from Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus, achieved first place in the industrial high school examinations for the year 2017, in the mechatronics department across Syria.
