Continuous work to remove the rubble of the buildings in Sabinah camp

In Sabinah camp for Palestinian refugees in the suburbs of Damascus, the technical committees continue to remove the rubble and destroyed buildings, as the Military Construction Corporation works to remove and transfer the destroyed buildings and rubble in the camp on a daily basis.

On the other hand, the specialised committees in Sabinah announced that the citizens living in Al-Sabina Al-Soghra, will be moved from the western Abu Arif Street to the Assaly Road in the east, reaching the schools of the suburbs, and from the main street reaching the street  of the municipality for displaced persons and the clinic, pointing to the need to take the necessary identification documents to register the entry of the people.

In 2013, Sabinah camp witnessed violent clashes and was subjected to heavy bombardments by the Syrian regime forces, which led to the total and partial damage of 80% of its buildings, before the regime took complete control of it on 17-11-2013. A few of its residents were allowed to return to the camp on 30 August 2017.
