The Action Group has documented the death of Palestinian refugee “Ahmed Mohammed Barnawy,” due to torture in the Syrian regime prisons, after a detention period of almost two years and a half. He was a resident of Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus.
The Action Group’s Monitoring and Documentation Team has announced that the total number of Palestinian victims who have died due to torture in the Syrian regime prisons, has reached 482 victims, while the real numbers are expected to be much higher because of the Syrian regime’s secrecy in revealing the fate of over 1680 Palestinian detainees.
