Photos of victims of torture in Syrian lock-ups were put on display in an exhibition held in Stuttgart, south of Germany. The photos were leaked by a Syrian military police breakaway, codenamed Caesar.
The exhibition held by the Caesar group and co-sponsored by Heinrich Böll Foundation, among other groups, kick-started on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, in an attempt to reach out to victims’ families and corroborate torture affidavits from Syrian government penitentiaries.
