Palestinian refugee Mohamed AlMesri, from AlHusainiya Camp, in Rif Dimashq, died under torture in Syrian government jails, bringing the number of victims of torture to 519.
AlMesri was kidnapped by Fatah AlIntifada and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command from Jaramana Camp on June 22, 2018. He was turned in to the Palestine Branch on the Jaramana access road shortly afterwards.
Another Palestinian refugee—Ubada Abdul Rahman Hasan—was killed as he fought alongside the Syrian government troops in Daraa, south of Syria.
