Several Palestinian activists and refugees have been outraged by the decision of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to arrange the return of Palestinian refugees in Gaza to Syria.
Activists dubbed the declared move a sign of the PLO’s indifference as regards the displaced Palestinian families who fled from war-ragged Syria, saying those families were initially forced out of their homes in Palestinian towns and villages by the Israeli occupation in 1948.
They called on the PLO to rally round the Palestinians from Syria in Gaza and to implement practical mechanisms so as to facilitate their return to their homes across the occupied Palestinian territories.
