3,840 Palestinian Refugees Killed in Syria Since 2011

AGPS documented the death of 3,840 Palestinian refugees, among them 478 women and girls, due to war-related incidents in Syria.

Yarmouk Camp topped the list with 1,398 victims, followed by Daraa Camp with 261 victims. At the same time, 200 died from Khan Eshieh Camp, 167 from AlNeirab Camp, 122 from AlHusainiya Camp.

1,508 victims have been identified as residents of Palestinian camps and communities across the Syrian territories. 183 casualties took shelter in unknown locations.

1,198 Palestinians died under shelling in the raging warfare; 1,037 were fatally gunned down; 534 others were tortured to death in Syrian penitentiaries.

Dozens of Palestinian refugees have had their limbs amputated; other lost vision in the raging warfare.

AGPS also kept record of the incarceration of 1,682 Palestinian refugees in Syrian government prisons, where they have been enduring mysterious fates.
