The Syrian regime continues to prevent the exhumation of bodies under the rubble in Yarmouk camp

Speaking with AGPS Activists said the Syrian government forces continue to prevent civilians and paramedics from recovering bodies stuck under the mounds of debris piled up in Yarmouk Camp, south of Damascus.

The activists added that the government forces continue to block the recovery of dead bodies, claiming that there are no official parties or hospitals to take charge of the cadavers.

According to the same source, the bodies of Abdul Hadi Fayez Abdul Hadi, Basema Ghoutani, Haifa AlHaj, Mohamed Hadaba, and Inshirah AlShaabi have been stranded under the stacks of debris in Ata AlZeir Street.

Sometime earlier, AGPS called on the Syrian government to allow paramedics and civil defense crews a safe access to Yarmouk Camp so as to remove the bodies of civilians who were killed in the recent round of hostilities launched by the government forces south of Damascus.

A statement by AGPS urged the international community and institutions to step up pressure on the Syrian government so as to remove the bodies of Palestinian victims stuck under the ruins of Yarmouk Camp.
