Yarmouk Homes Subjected to Property-Theft

Militias from the so-called AlNour community have been stealing civilian homes in Yarmouk in the presence of government troops and their war partners.

Eye-witnesses said members of the Nour community, wearing special dresses, have been raking through evacuated homes and holding sway over brass pots and kitchen ware.

A video released by a resident shows a group of thieves leaving Yarmouk Camp while carrying equipment belonging to displaced families.

Reports of theft have emerged after Syrian government forces grabbed hold of the camp and reportedly burglarized civilian homes. Pro-government troops stole electric kit, furniture, and wares, among other equipment.
