Four members of the Palestinian Alyan family were tortured to death in Syrian dungeons.
The casualties are: Sayf AlDeen Alyan Ali, born in 1970 and kidnapped on April 17, 2013; Mohamed Kheir Alyan Ali, born in 1972 and kidnapped on January 29, 2014; Ezzedine Mohamed Khayr Ali, born in 1995 and kidnapped on January 29, 2014; and Ali Alian Ali, born in 1987 and arrested on January 29, 2014.
Mohamed, Ali, and Ezzedine were kidnapped at the Jaramana checkpoint. Sayf was kidnapped at the Husainiya checkpoint, in Rif Dimashq.
The family received the death news after they showed up at the civil registration office.
Recently, the Syrian government released the names of dozens of Palestinian detainees who died under torture over recent years.
