23 Palestinian, Syrian Migrants Rescued Southwest of Turkey

The Turkish coast guard team announced that it rescued 26 migrants, among them women and children, who were attempting to reach Greece.

Anadolu agency quoted security sources as stating that coast guards in Bodrum district, in Mugla province, in southwestern Turkey received a call to rescue a boat carrying migrants.

Coast guard teams rushed to the area and rescued 26 Syrians and Palestinians onboard the vessel.

According to AGPS data, 50 Palestinian refugees from Syria drowned at sea on way to European destinations.
