UNRWA has begun cash-in-hand distributions to Palestinian refugees fleeing war-stricken Syria to Lebanon.
Every Palestinian family from Syria received a rental allowance of $100 and a food allowance worth 27$ per every refugee.
According to UNRWA statistics, until the end of 2016, 31,000 Palestinian refugees from Syria have sought shelter in Lebanon, where they have been grappling with abject living conditions.
