Syria’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education reportedly agreed to work out the situation of Yarmouk residents who dropped out of school due to the tough blockade imposed on the camp.
A letter issued by the Director-General of the General Commission for Arab Palestine Refugees, Ali Mustafa, said the Minister of Higher Education formally approved to settle the files of Yarmouk students.
Residents of Yarmouk Camp had long been grappling with a tough siege enforced by the Syrian government forces and their war partners, blocking civilians’ and students’ access out of and into the area.
