A statistical report issued by AGPS on August 2 documented the death of 12 Palestinian children from Syria during the first half of 2018 due to war related incidents.
The minor casualties died as a result of violent onslaughts launched by the Syrian government forces and opposition outfits. A number of children died due to medical neglect and the blockade imposed on Yarmouk Camp.
The report kept record of the death of 166 Palestinian refugees from Syria during the same period, 101 among them identified as civilians and 65 as militants.
Female victims made up 9.04% of the overall death toll, with 15 casualties, as opposed to 151 male victims.
109 Palestinians from Syria were pronounced dead in April, May, and June in 2018, up from 57 in the first quarter.
