The residents have also spoken out against the transportation crisis and the difficulties they have been facing in moving back from and to the camp, located some 23 kilometers away from southern Damascus. Students and workers have to wait four long hours to reach their destinations. The residents said transportation fees often take ¼ of their salaries.
