Palestinian refugee from Syria Ahmad Ibrahim, born in 1974 and formerly sheltered in Shabaa, in Rif Dimashq, disappeared on Thursday, November 29, as he tried to cross the Dobra River in Croatia with four friends in an attempt to reach Italy via Slovenia.
Ibrahim’s family appealed to the human rights institutions to take urgent action and work on disclosing their son’s fate and whereabouts.
Ibrahim fled war-torn Syria to the Badawi refugee camp, in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli. Like hundreds of Palestinian refugees, Ibrahim has attempted to reach Europe in the hunt for a safer shelter.
