UNRWA in Lebanon announced on Tuesday its decision to hand over heating allowances to Palestinian refugees from war-torn Syria in Lebanon.
This came during a meeting convened between the agency’s UNRWA's Regional Director-General in Lebanon Claudio Kordoni and the head of the agency’s Field Protection Officer, Matteo Bennati, along with Secretary of the Popular Committees in Lebanon, Iyad Abu AlShaalan.
The amount and delivery date of the allotted sum have not yet been identified.
