Palestinian refugee Hamam Abdul Rahman Ayoub, born in 1989, has been enduring a mysterious fate in a Syrian state prison.
Hamam, from AlAyedeen Camp in Hums, was kidnapped by pro-government militias in Syria on September 11, 2012 as he headed for a police station to receive his passport.
Reports released more than a couple of years ago said Hamam had been spotted in AlFayhaa lock-up. His fate and condition have been unknown.
