The Syrian Directorate of Immigration and passport issued a circular states that not allowing those who finished the compulsory service and who is ready for a reserve to travel only after obtaining the approval of the recruitment pision, it is noteworthy that such approval were included those who did not perform all military service. It is worth mentioning that hundreds of young Palestinians abstain from performing compulsory military service in the PLA for fear of being thrown in the battles for the Syrian army.
