Turkish Embassy in Lebanon Suspends Visas for Palestinians from Syria

The Turkish Embassy in Lebanon continues to prevent Palestinian refugees from Syria in Lebanon from obtaining visas. As a result, hundreds of Palestinians from Syria have embarked on life-threatening journeys via illegal immigration roads to reach Turkey, fleeing war-tattered Syria.

Palestinians from Syria in Lebanon have been facing dire living conditions due to the lack of financial resources and restrictions on their access to the labor market. Several families were forced to return to Syria while others fled to Turkey in an attempt to set sail toward the European Continent.
