Al Wafaa European Campaign called all the armed parties in the Yarmouk camp for Palestinian Refugees to work immediately and rapidly to avoid the residents the ongoing fighting inside the camp, which is besieged for 637 days respectively. It also warned of a humanitarian disaster if the situation continues as it is especially after the entrance of ISIS in the camp and controlling it last Wednesday.
Al-Wafaa Campain called in a press statement that it is nessessary to reach a humanitarian truce inside the camp imidiatly to get the civilians and wounded people out to safe places and areas far from the violent bombing and clashes that target the camp and securing the suitable treatment to them..
The Campaign referred that most of the Yarmouk residents are besieged in their houses without food, water and power, they can’t get out because of the severe bombing and the wide arrest campaign that the ISIS launches in the camp, the campaign also demanded to find safe humanitarian pathways for entering the relief aids to the besieged residents inside the camp.
Al-Wafaa Campaign appealed all the international, relief and medical organizations to rapidly move inside the Yarmouk camp to relief 20 besieged people inside that camp, including 3500 children after the stop of all the medical points inside the camp and targeting the only hospital with shells that was operated inside the camp with inpidual and voluntary efforts.
