United Nations Security Council on Monday demanded to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp, where ISIS groups control large parts of it, amid Palestinian warning of "genocide," and deterioration in the humanitarian situation.
The Council called, in an emergency session to discuss the situation in the Yarmouk refugee camp, to protect civilians and ensure humanitarian aid access, including the necessary life-saving assistance, "according to the Ambassador of Jordan at the Security Council Dina Kawar, whichher countryheadsthe Council this month."
The UN warned of a "terrible" humanitarian attitude for about 18 thousand Palestinians, including 3,500 besieged children inside the camp.
