Palestinian refugee Ekab Mamdouh Ekab has been held in Syrian government jails for seven years running.
Ekab, from Daraa Camp for Palestinian refugees, south of Syria, was kidnapped from AlKashef neighborhood in Daraa on May 2, 2012. He is the son of a leading member of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP).
According to AGPS data, 1747 Palestinian refugees have been secretly locked up in Syrian government prisons, among them over 107 women and dozens of minors.
