Activists have launched appeals for releasing Palestinian refugee Nour AlDeen Mahmoud, who has been detained by the Turkish authorities for 35 consecutive days.
Activists and the refugee’s relatives called the concerned NGO and official institutions to hold contacts with the Turkish authorities so as to release Nour AlDeen and all other refugees detained in Turkey.
Recently, Turkish police stepped down crackdowns and abduction sweeps, targeting irregular migrants and non-holders of the kimlik visa card in Istanbul.
Nearly 2,400 Palestinian families from Syria have sought shelter in Turkey, including 1,200 families in Istanbul, where they have been facing an abject situation.
