Palestinian Refugee Bakr AlKousi Held in Syrian Gov’t Jail since 2013

Palestinian refugee Bakr AlKousi has been secretly held in Syria’s state-run jails for the sixth consecutive year.

Bakr was kidnapped by government force at AlHusainiya checkpoint, in Rif Dimashq, on August 12, 2013. His condition and whereabouts remain unknown. His family continues to appeal for information.

AGPS documented the secret detention of 1,759 Palestinian refugees in Syrian government prisons, among them 108 women and girls.
