Three Palestinians refugees, including a 12-year-old girl, were arrested at a checkpoint set up by armed opposition groups in Efrin region, in northern Syria.
Reporting from northern Syria, an AGPS correspondent said the arrestees—Zaki Arar, Ayman Shababo, and the latter’s daughter—residents of AlNeirab refugee camp, in Aleppo, were on their way to Turkey.
Palestinian refugees formerly sheltered in government-held zones and trying to gain access into northern Syria have been subjected to frequent crackdowns at checkpoints pitched by opposition squads and government forces.
