Palestinian refugee Firas Rafe’, in his 30s of age, was arrested by Syrian government forces a few days earlier.
An AGPS field reporter attributed the abduction to the alleged theft-property assaults carried out by Firas, a resident of Aleppo’s AlNeirab refugee camp, in nearby villages.
The arrestee is reportedly affiliated with the pro-government Liwaa AlQuds squad in Syria.
Sometime earlier, Palestinian refugee Samer Rafe’, commander of the pro-government Liwaa AlQuds brigade, was arrested by government troops following a shootout with a government gunman at a checkpoint in Latakia.
Residents of AlNeirab Camp said ill-famed Samer Rafe’ was once arrested on charges of armed robbery and property theft in Aleppo. His fate remains unknown.
