Activists Lash Out at Syrian Security Forces over Incitement against Palestine Refugees

Activists from Daraa Camp for Palestinian refugees have accused pro-government forces in Syria of circulating leaflets to defame local residents and stir up sedition between government affiliates and former opposition groups.

“All Iranian forces and militias along with their allies should leave Daraa Camp in no more than 72 hours”, the circulated admonition read.

The residents voiced deep concern over simmering tension-rousing propagandas against Syria’s Daraa Camp for Palestine refugees.

AGPS documented the secret detention of 42 Palestinian refugees sheltered in Daraa Camp, south of Syria, from March 2011 until mid-October 2019 in Syrian government jails.

Over 600 Palestinian families taking shelter in Daraa Camp, south of Syria, have been subjected to dire conditions due to the lack of vital services, including health care, and medicine shortage.
