A displaced Palestinian woman in northern Syria who suffers from a leg disease said she has been unable to secure treatment fees in the poverty-stricken area.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the refugee denounced the absence of financial support by UNRWA, saying she suffers from an unstable knee joint and anterior cruciate ligament tear, according to medical checks carried out at the Furat Medical Complex.
The 18-year-old refugee needs a magnetic resonance imaging of keen cartilage and ligaments. She continues to appeal to the concerned humanitarian bodies to help her secure much-needed treatment fees.
The young lady has been taking refuge in AlSadaka camp after she was deported from Yarmouk Camp, in Damascus, to northern Syria in 2018. Her husband has been held in Syrian government jails.
