Palestinian photographer Mootaz AlMawed, from Yarmouk camp, in Damascus, won the press photo contest, held by the General Sports Federation in Syria on November 18 as part of the 2019 Golden Pen Competition.
Mootaz told the Syrian news agency SANA that his success in the competition will encourage him to make many other steps forward and to take part in upcoming festivals.
