"Abu Ahmed," a leaderof AknafBrigades in the Yarmouk camp, stated that ISIS and AL Nusra are confused, as some cases of escape were recorded amongst their members.
In an exclusive statement for a Palestinian newspaper, "Abu Ahmed" mentioned that "Aknafsucceeded in restoring blocks near the Salah al-Din Ayoubicmosque, which was controlled previously by ISIS. He also clarified that Aknaf is still besieging the security square of Al Nusra at Palestine square, stressing deaths and wounded in its ranks.
Adding that "Aknaf, in cooperation with the SFA, regained the initiative of the camp in which ISIS controls 70% of its area."
"Abu Ahmed" also mentioned that Aknaf fighters had killed 60 fighters of ISIS in violent battles in more than one axis, within 18 days of breaking into the camp.
"There is coordination between Aknafand the operations' room of Yarmouk Resident' victory ofcthe Syrian opposition, heccontinued, "We decided to eradicate ISIS out of the camp and the south of Damascus, noting the full names of the members who involved in the assassination of activists, and had a role in its downfall, as saying."
He urged the necessity of activating the popular mobilization in order to expel ISIS and Al Nusra coincide with military operations that are led by AKnafwith the Syrian opposition factions to expel them, calling for the need to activate the humanitarian and emergency relief assistance to the people of the camp.
