Egyptian authorities still detain Palestinian Syrian refugees in its prisons.

The Egyptian authorities are still detain 56 Palestinian refugees from Syria after arresting them while they were trying to reach Italy launching from the Turkish shores on 25th of the last month, since they were victims of a scam by smugglers who left them in front of an Egyptian island where they were arrested there.

It is mentioned that the Egyptian security released all Syrian detainees while still detain 56 Palestinians after all surrounding countries refused to receive them, as they were told to choose to be deported to Syria or stay in prison.

The detainees renewed their appeal to all international and human rights organizations to urgently and immediately intervene to release them and alleviate their suffering.
