A member of the Palestine Liberation Army (PLA), affiliated with the Syrian government, was tasked with working on the files of Palestinian young men in Aleppo and in AlNeirab and Handarat refugee camps who evaded military conscription.
Shortly after the outburst of the deadly warfare, the Syrian government forced Palestinian refugees aged 18 and above to join affiliated militias for varying periods.
