Jaramana Camp receives nearly 5,000 displaced families, especially from Yarmouk,Husseinia,SayedaZeinab,Sbeineh and Al Theabia camps, thereby exacerbating the suffering of the population which has led to the deterioration of economic conditions and high unemployment rate.
It is noteworthy that Jaramana camp did not engage the ongoing events in Syria directly, but it witnessed the fall of shells in its vicinity as a result of its proximity to the road of Damascus International Airport and the Ghuta.
