Liwaa AlQuds armed group, affiliated with the Syrian government forces, announced the death of five gunmen in Deir AlZor, east of Syria. Another military commander was injured.
The group said a military vehicle was destroyed in a mine blast in the area, resulting in the death of Mahmoud AlAzo, Basel Zeidan, Mohamed Karim, Omar AlBasha, and Naser Mahmoud. Commander Shadi Hadid, nicknamed “Kamroni” and a resident of Aleppo’s AlNeirab refugee camp, sustained moderate burns and was transferred to Aleppo for treatment.
AGPS documented the death of 90 Palestinian refugees from Liwaa AlQuds battalion as they fought alongside Syria’s government troops since the group’s founding in 2013.
