Palestinian writer and critic Nardine Abbas Matar Abu Nabaa released her novel entitled “Seven Hard Years”, published by Dar ElMarafa in Cairo.
The novel narrates the plight of displacement and deportation wrought on Palestinian refugees. It tells the story of a Palestinian family that witnessed the atrocities of the blockade imposed on Yarmouk Camp, in Damascus, before they fled the deadly Syrian warfare to Europe, risking their lives trying to get to safety to another destination.
