Residents of Khan Eshieh refugee camp, located in the western outskirts of Rif Dimashq, continue to denounce their squalid humanitarian condition and the absence of vital services in the area.
Civilians said the poor infrastructure and the high rates of unemployment and poverty have made life unbearable in the area.
The residents appealed to the General Authority for Palestinian Arab Refugees (AGAPAR), UNRWA, and all other concerned institutions to take urgent action in response to the socio-economic crises they have been enduring.
They further sounded the alarm over the acute shortage in drinking water and fuel supplies, saying chronic water blackouts and mounds of garbage piled up in the camp have made their humanitarian condition worse.
