A state of panic has overwhelmed the Palestinian refugee community in AlMuzeireeb town, south of Syria, owing to violent shootouts between the Syrian government forces and the opposition outfits following an attack targeting a Syrian intelligence checkpoint near AlMuzeireeb town.
According to local sources, a number of government officers were held captive. Gunmen also cordoned off a checkpoint near Gileen town.
