Action Group \u2013 Rural Damascus<\/p>\n
The suffering of Ahmad Mar\u2019i, a young Palestinian man in his thirties from Khan Dannoun camp in rural Damascus, continues as he battles chronic kidney failure. His health has deteriorated, and complications related to dialysis sessions have increased, according to his family.<\/p>\n
In a statement received by the Action Group for Palestinians of Syria, Mar\u2019i\u2019s family said his condition has worsened in recent weeks due to severe fluid retention, causing shortness of breath and difficulty moving, in addition to other health complications related to his illness.<\/p>\n
The family added that available treatments are no longer sufficient to slow his decline, noting that continuing treatment with limited medical resources and necessary medications increases the risks to his life.<\/p>\n
The family appealed to official bodies and humanitarian and charitable organizations operating in Syria for urgent intervention to secure specialized medical care and transfer the patient to a center capable of providing appropriate treatment, including advanced treatment options if possible, to improve his chances of survival.<\/p>\n
