Greece’s Ministry of Immigration Policy said 3,386 Palestinians have applied for asylum in Greece since 2013 until 2018.
A statement attributed to the Greek Ministry of Immigration Policy said as many as 59,684 migrants from war-torn Syria have sought asylum in the country over the past five years.
Hundreds of Palestinian refugees continue to risk their lives onboard the Europe-bound “death boats”, fleeing war-stricken zones.
According to AGPS data, 51 Palestinian refugees drowned at sea, trying to reach Europe.
